The
Campaign for Abolition of all Misogynic Gender Based legislation &
Islamic
Punitive Laws in Iran is organizing a
great march from March 4 to March 8, 2006 from Frankfurt
(Germany) to the Hague (the Netherlands),
passing through Mainz, Cologne and Dusseldurf. This is a march aginst
all the
medieval laws, all unequal legislation and Islamic punitive laws
against women
in Iran. This march is organized by women who have launched the
Campaign and has
gained the support of many progressive forces.

This
march will be an embodiment of the unity of different
individuals and forces from
different walks of life and with different points of view, for struggle
against
the anti women laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran. We all have united
under
this sign-board without relinquishing our own identity, and we feel the
strenght of this march is the unity of a variety of participants around
the
issue of women, and this needs to be represented in the slogans,
banners,
placards etc. (please refrain from bringing 3-color flags and pictures
of
personalities)
